More photos from the city

More photos from the city

A few more photos from my photo expedition into the city a few Sunday’s ago.

My computer have been inoperative for a few weeks now, working on and off, when it feels like it. So I have folders full of photos to edit and I am a bit behind schedule with web design work.

On the other hand I had plenty of time to draw, create collages and work on new embroideries.

I love computers and technology, but I’m happy just the same working “unplugged”.

The City of London - Architecture

I could not have picked a better day!

The sky continuously changing, from menacing grey to ocean blue. The towering, empty buildings, mirroring white lacy clouds, the streets almost deserted.

The City is a strange place: busy and bustling during working hours, ghost town at night and on the weekend.

That’s when I like to visit it, admiring the architecture, discovering little alleys and “secret” gardens. That’s when the “inhumanity” of its scale feels rather appealing.
