The long walk from Brixton to Sloane Square on a glorious Sunday in January, armed with camera and comfortable boots.
Stopping in Clapham Old Town for lunch, then off towards Battersea Park after a little pilgrimage to the place where I used to live the first time I came to London, many lifetimes ago.
Warming up with cappucino and pastries at the italian delicatessen on Lower Sloane Street, before taking the tube back home.

Waiting for the last train, in a cold night in January, what better way to spend the time, than taking photos of the deserted station?

I have collected so many Hipstamatic films and lenses, I don’t even remember what they are, how they look. So I devised a little project: to use a particular combination and use it for a whole day (or week, or whatever).
This is a little selection done with the Watts lens and Rock BW-11 film.

A few shots taken with my iPhone 5 and Hipstamatic, at the Tate Modern, during a recent visit.

In my youth (at the times of film photography), I shot mostly in black and white, for both aesthetical and practical reasons. I loved that fact that I could develop and print my photos (being self-sufficient is a big deal!), and when given the choice, I tend to go monochromatic.
Now I’m back experimenting with black and white photography, both with the Nikon and the iPhone. I’m also turning my Instagram feed into a black and white gallery, to give it a more uniform look.
This is a little selection from a photo trip around Borough.
I have avoided the obvious views, I even avoided the market all together! But I’m planning to dedicate a photo-shoot just to that.
Stay tuned for more.

It’s freezing cold! Light snow has been floating in the air for a couple of days, swept around by the cold wind. Not the season to be going around in search of interesting images.
So all I can do — apart from working on some art, designing websites, and studying — is take photos of interiors.
This is from a series in black and white, that I have been working on for a while.
In the meantime I wait for the weather to warm up, even just a little bit, so I can go back exploring and re-discovering this beautiful city.
