Mr Giant ate his lunch — a ham and pickle sandwich with milky tea — standing on Oxford Circus.
He couldn’t find a seat to fit his frame. And by now his feet were killing him.
As he moved on a side road to lose the crowd, he spotted the perfect place.
Mini sagas are short, self-contained stories, of exactly 50 words. I’m using them as a way to practise storytelling. Sometimes inspired by a photograph, other times they are the inspiration for images, to complement the stories.

The long walk from Brixton to Sloane Square on a glorious Sunday in January, armed with camera and comfortable boots.
Stopping in Clapham Old Town for lunch, then off towards Battersea Park after a little pilgrimage to the place where I used to live the first time I came to London, many lifetimes ago.
Warming up with cappucino and pastries at the italian delicatessen on Lower Sloane Street, before taking the tube back home.

I have collected so many Hipstamatic films and lenses, I don’t even remember what they are, how they look. So I devised a little project: to use a particular combination and use it for a whole day (or week, or whatever).
This is a little selection done with the Watts lens and Rock BW-11 film.
