A few things I enjoy when walking in the English countryside:

  1. Endless fields of buttercups
  2. Amusing street names
  3. Light and shadow drawing patterns on water

I go through my photo files on a regular basis, to sort and edit a bunch of photos. There are always more, and I don’t even think I spend that much time with my camera! Not as much as I would like, at least. I tend to take loads of photos when I travel, of course.

So here we go, more ‘holiday shots’.

There are a few things that I love more than the sea. But at the moment I can’t even think of one.

Colourful embroidery

Colourful embroidery

A little piece I have been working on.

It’s more like an embroidery sketch than a proper piece. My technique needs some improvement (and much more practise) before I can be satisfied enough to call it a “proper piece”.

The weather has been fantastic! It seems like summer is finally here, and today I had my first swim at the Brokwell Lido and enjoyed it very much. It beats running for sure!

For the weekend I’m planning to spend as much time outdoors that I possibly can. I’m thinking long, lazy afternoons in the park, watching the changing sky, and possibly a little pic-nic.

And maybe doing some embroidery en plein air.

Have a great weekend!
